Continuing from PN to RN through OAHH

The Nursing Education Department is the most recent addition to the OAHH’s curriculum offering a “1 + 1” nursing education. Successful completion of the first year of the Nursing Program will lead to a diploma and eligibility to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Students may choose to practice as a Practical Nurse or continue their education toward licensure as a Registered Nurse. Upon successful completion of the second year of the Nursing Program, the student will earn an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Nursing and become eligible to take the NCLEX-RN. 

Licensed Practical Nursing graduates from other school programs may continue their education within the Registered Nursing Program.
