  • Clinical Aromatherapy Certification
    23 Credit Hours

The Clinical Aromatherapy Certification program prepares graduates for professional careers using aromatherapy to balance, restore and soothe one’s Being. Oil properties, choosing and utilizing appropriate carriers and deliver methods, choosing quality oils, and how to prepare custom blends are covered.  Business skills and scope of practice are part of the curriculum, as well as psychology, anatomy and physiology, pathology, and the holistic view. 

At OAHH, the Clinical Aromatherapy Certification program is grounded in the understanding of the power of intention, the unconscious mind, and the understanding of energetic principles.  The successful graduate is well prepared as a Clinical Aromatherapist to create their own successful career assisting others on their journey to wellness.

Our program is designed to give the participants education on an academic as well as a clinical level.  All aspects of a practice in Aromatherapy, such as specific indications and contraindications and method of delivery of specific essential and carrier oils; basic biochemistry in relation to Aromatherapy; all aspects of blending; basic hand, foot and body reflexology techniques for application of essential oils; legal and ethical office operations for the Certified Aromatherapist; development of health products using essential oils.

Case studies, client assessment, research material, and a written and practical exam will be required in this certification process.  A 60-hour Preceptorship will include on-site clinical training with mentors as well as supervised and critiqued sessions with peers and mentors. 

  • Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification (HYP)
    26 Credit Hours

The OAHH Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification program prepares graduates for professional careers using hypnotherapy to engage the intuitive and self-healing aspects of the mind.  Business skills and scope of practice are part of the curriculum, as well as psychology, anatomy and physiology, pathology and the holistic view. 

As with all OAHH programs, the Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification program is grounded in the understanding of the power of intention, the unconscious mind, and the understanding of energetic principles. The successful graduate is well prepared as a Clinical Hypnotherapist to assist others in life change, empowerment, and well-being.

The majority of graduates move into private practice/self-employment, and changing trends in the healthcare industry are opening doors for hypnotherapists.  Historical perspectives, theories and multiple techniques of Hypnotherapy are taught, and students learn specific applications for a variety of indications, including medical and dental applications, as well as the utilization of Hypnotherapy with adults and children. 

A 60-hour Preceptorship will include on-site clinical training with mentors as well as supervised and critiqued sessions with peers and mentors.  An additional aspect of training includes the legal and ethical components of a Hypnotherapy practice.  Office operations and marketing are included.

Upon completion of this program student is eligible for certification through the American Board of Hypnotherapy.  Course work can also apply toward a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy with the American Institute of Hypnotherapy. 

 

  • Clinical Reflexology Certification (REF)
    26 Credit Hours

he Clinical Reflexology Certification program prepares graduates for professional careers using reflexology to stimulate the self-healing abilities, improve circulation and facilitate the balance of the entire body.  Business skills and scope of practice are part of the curriculum, as well as psychology, anatomy and physiology, pathology and the holistic view. 

At OAHH, the Clinical Reflexology Certification program is grounded in the understanding of the power of intention, the unconscious mind and the understanding of energetic principles.  The successful graduate is well prepared as a Clinical Reflexologist to provide this powerful form of bodywork to assist others on the wellness journey.

Reflexology is a form of bodywork that is based on a science dealing with human physiological and neurological systems, and correlates reflex points in the hands and feet to various areas and systems of the body.  Graduates are prepared to begin a private practice in this modality or to work in various holistic health care settings.  Although the majority of graduates move into private practice/self-employment, changing trends in the healthcare industry are opening doors for alumni. 

The program involves learning the cultural origins of this practice as well as its evolution in the holistic health care system.  Theories, techniques and applications will be discussed and practiced in class and simulated client settings.  A 60-hour Preceptorship will include on-site clinical training with mentors as well as supervised and critiqued sessions with peers and mentors.  Ethics, legalities and office procedures will be included.  Reflexology can also be an adjunct modality for other forms of bodywork.

 

  • Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) Diploma
    53 Credit  Hours

The Holistic Health Practitioner™ Diploma program is a comprehensive course of study preparing graduates for professional careers using holistic modalities including:

o    Reflexology

o    Hypnotherapy

o    Neuro Linguistic Programming

o    Specialized Kinesiology

o    Aromatherapy

o    Herbology

o    Holistic Nutrition

o    And more!

At OAHH, our HHP program is grounded in the recognition and understanding of the power of intention, the unconscious mind, and the understanding of energetic principles.  The successful OAHH graduate is well prepared to assist others in life changes, empowerment and well-being.

This program of study is designed for individuals wishing to incorporate the techniques from a variety of holistic health modalities.  Individuals enrolling in this program may currently be holistic professionals with a desire to add a more complete dimension to their current skill level.  Individuals who are currently health care professionals may take this program to add a full holistic component to the healthcare they currently offer. 

  • Holistic Life Coach™ (HLC) Diploma
    47 Credit Hours

The Holistic Life Coach™ Diploma program prepares graduates for professional careers using holistic modalities including, hypnotherapy, neuro linguistic programming, aromatherapy, herbology, holistic nutrition, and more!  Business skills and scope of practice are part of the curriculum, as well as conventional anatomy and physiology, pathology and the holistic view. 

As with the HHP program, the HLC program is grounded in the understanding of the power of intention, the unconscious mind, and the understanding of energetic principles.  The successful graduate is well prepared to assist others in life change, empowerment, and
well-being.

This program of study is designed for individuals wishing to begin a profession as a holistic life coach.  Individuals may currently be involved in a medical, holistic or mental health care career and wish to incorporate this aspect into their current profession.  This program may also serve as a means for holistic health professionals to move up to the next level of education in their industry.

  • Masssage Therapy Program
    57 Credit Hours

If you are ready to begin a fulfilling career helping others on their wellness journey, then this OAHH, one of a kind, Ohio Medical Board-approved Massage Therapy Diploma program is for you!  At OAHH, holistic health concepts are integrated into all coursework while preparing the student to take the Ohio State Board Massage Therapy examination.

Our program is specially designed for people who want to focus on the clinical and rehabilitative approaches to massage therapy with a holistic understanding of healing.  The OAHH massage therapy program has a strong foundation in traditional anatomy, physiology, pathology, terminology and kinesiology. 

OAHH’s unique perspective integrates aromatherapy into massage therapy, and also teaches the appropriate use of healing imagery to integrate into their practice.  Additional topics covered include business training and starting your own practice.

Upon completion, the OAHH graduate is qualified to take the Ohio State Board Massage Therapy examination to become a Massage Therapist.  LMTs work in medical settings or in private practice, they work in sports massage, in spas, in the work place, on cruise ships – the possibilities are endless!  Given the special holistic perspective OAHH provides its students, graduates will be able to integrate aromatherapy and healing imagery into their massage work, making it a complete body, mind and spirit healing experience for the client.
