Administrative Staff

  • David Cunningham, BS, CCHt.

Mr. Cunningham, Chief Executive Officer, is a graduate of the Academy and has served in several capacities in both the school and the wellness center for the past several years. Mr. Cunningham previously served as director of a marketing division for General Electric. He is also the co-founder of the Center on High; a Columbus based Holistic Health Center.

  • Elaine M. Hiatt, MA

Ms. Hiatt, School Director, received her MA in Workforce Development Education from the Ohio State University. She is currently completing her doctorate in Leadership in Higher Education through Capella University. She has been an instructor at the Academy for several years and has practiced in this field for more than 15 years. Her work at Ohio State has focused on the development of educational institutions such as the Academy.

  • Lisa Mendenhall, AAS

Lisa Mendenhall works as the OAHH Registrar and also serves as the Placement coordinator.  Lisa holds an Associates Degree in Business Management from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio.  After earning her degree, she served many years as a store manager for a local supermarket.  Lisa brings a diverse set of marketing and management skills to her position.

  • William Pruitt, AAS, MCSE, MCP+I, A+, Security+, RM, CCR

William Pruitt, Director of Computer Operations, graduated from Southern State Community College in 1996 with a degree in Psychology and English and is currently finishing his Bachelors Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Security at Western Governors University.  He is a Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Comptia Security+ Certified Professional, and Comptia A+ Certified Professional.  He has been working in the computer industry since the early 1990s as technical support, lead engineer, and project manager with several government defense contractors, as well as the public sector.  He has a vast amount of computer equipment and software experience.  His computer projects include Y2K update for the Air Force, desktop support for IBM, Honeywell, Siemens Business Services, and Reynolds & Reynolds, project manager for system migration for PNC Bank, and Lead Engineer for a national network migration for Zurich Financial.  He is a retired Emergency Medical Technician with an award for Excellence in Pediatric Trauma, and is a Reiki Master, and Clinically Certified Reflexologist.
